Stay ahead of the analogue switch-off with Otis ONE

The telecommunications industry is transitioning from the old copper cabling technology known as the Public Switch Telephone Network (PSTN) to modern fibre optic cables. This transition means that all future telephone calls over 'fixed lines' will be made using Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP).

The transition will be gradual, with a planned completion date of January 2027, at which point the old network will be 'decommissioned'. As many lifts currently use the PSTN to connect their alarm systems, this change could affect your building.
